Want to make a membership site

I'm a site flipper, been creating blogs and etc, I Want to make a membership site for MYSELF.
I don't know what niche (not porn!) and what tool (free please)?

Can anyone recommend me ?

Basically wysiwyg, Cost's a bit but I'm sure you can find a nulled one like me

I can create content easily (he shows how to), but I suck at driving traffic, else I'd have given a shot at this.

The only thing that I am wondering, is do people really pay a monthly fee for access to a website? I am having a hard time picking a niche, because of this.

Wish there were a way to scrape up a list of the best memberships niche sites.
