Want To Make A Flash Game

I don't know weather it is correct place to start this thread,,,,, but since my topic is about flash and Actionscript,,, i am starting the thread here,,,,,,,,

I have planned to make a flash game ( cricket game like "http://www.sticksports.com/cricket/" ),,,,,,,,, i am having 2 ideas,,,,

1. To develop the game myself...

I am good with macromedia flash but i don't know action script. Is it possible to make a game with macromedia flash. How lond does it take to create a game like this ?? What are the things which i need to learn to make a game like this ??


2. To hire a freelancer...

Do there are freelancer for developing games ?? how much it will cost ??

1) I think you will need to know very well actionscript.

2) Just post your project on freelancers sites and wait for their bids. Like for example:


There are more freelancers sites, just google it. You can even do the project with a freelancer.

Not sure if this is helpful or not... It's written in php. But from my understanding these are already pre-built arcade games (1/2 the battle). you can then probably just customize it to you liking.

If you look at this page they have a game called: Justnotcricket

I haven't tried it... haven't used it. I just read about it here: @ BHW in the downloads section

if you are looking for an easy way to make flash or mobile games, and dont have to much knowlage about actionscrip and others programs. Then try Stencyl.

1 - I would do it myself , use HTML5 as a better alternative

2 - You can freelance on websites and stuff - If you are interested PM me and I can get you in contact with people who can do it for you.
