want to learn game developing, how to start?

    Hi guys
    i want to learn browser games developing, the type of games i hope to develop is games like (poker) , i mean the games that tow persons can play together,
    i'm a php programmer
    should i learn javascript and html5 beside php
    any place to start learning or advices.

    If you 're coding any kind of web apps, it goes without saying that you absolutely need to know javascript and html. Tons and tons and tons of sites, books & videos to learn from.

    Udacity has a html5 game development course. From what I remember it was pretty solid, though I never had the time to finish it.

    I would recomend unity game engine, there is plenty of tutorials on their site to help you get started.

    I concur. Unity/C# seems to be the best bet for quick game development with all things considered such as ide support , online tutorial resources , etc.
