Yahoo News and Yahoo Finance no longer accept direct submissions.
They aggregate news from a handful of approved Press Release newswires (you can pay these a fee to get published). Unfortunately its a purely "pay to play" platform now.

Thanks! that makes sense. I've seen advertisements on various SEO websites for getting an article in Yahoo or Yahoo Finance.
I was wondering if it is one of those "easy" things that would take a little time and a little money, yet some providers are charging for it.
It is good to know it's basically one of many websites that display Press Releases.

No problem. I dug deep into it a while back and you USED to be able to put in some elbow work and make a submission for free. That is no longer the case. USAToday was that was too for certain sections up until just a few months ago :/
