Want to know a bit abour forex.

I'm a full time forex trader and took me over a year to tap into the market. Expert advisors are a waste of time and so are most indicators. If you know how to control your risk to reward you only have to het it right 40% of the time to still be profitable.

if you have sufficient knowlegde and sufficient experience in the markets, you can make money like many dudes do and me, there even out there systems that are based in purely mechanical trading, robots for example, you just need to follow the signals. The hard part in trading is the psycoligal, greed, indiscipline, fear, everything that is to much or to litle, you need to become in a normal state of mind in trading, this is for descrecionary traders, machanical based traders can make robots and go to the beach while they are(robots) trading in this case inteligence made them money after some hard work they can rest while some program is making money ahah

Quit etoro as fast as you can.

Go to forexpeacearmy.com, there's a lot of cool info on that site and it also has a tried and tested list of the better brokers in the forex market. They actually invest in the brokers, measure their profit and then gauge them.

u got to act fast in forex, signal drop and up and if you didnt strike at the right time, you will lose and the amount depend on the amount that you have invested. not easy to earn in forex mate..

You say you want to know a bit about FOREX - no you don't.

Either know what you are doing or stay out of it IMO. That's my advice I'm sure you will
ignore it.

Yea, i did.

Is it legal in india?
Best website to use for forex?
I can only do paypal but have a debit card and can use it if forex is legal.
Is it profitable?
Any suggestions?

Dude you have ALOT to learn before even attempting to trade forex.

Im pretty sure you have to fund your forex account from a bank account, but it could depend from brokerage to brokerage.

It's not about the "best website" its about the best brokerage. I don't trade forex, so I cant tell you the best brokerage. What I can tell you is, go with the brokerage with the lowest spreads, for obvious reasons.

Asking if its profitable is like asking if poker is profitable. If you know your shit, and have been in it for years it can be profitable.

Any suggestions?

Before even depositing any money, I suggest you open a practice account (most brokerages have them) and practice for atleast 2-3 months. When you finally feel comfortable, go ahead and deposit some money, but expect to be negative for quite a while.

Most forex champs say its something that can't be learned overnight, you need lots of practice and eventually in a few years it'll happen.

As for the legality of trading currency in India, its hard to tell. I suggest contacting a lawyer.

Why would you start a thread like this on an IM forum? Of course there is going to be people on here telling you not to do it cos you'll lose your money and they have probably tried it for 2 weeks and didn't make any money. You can't be successful after 2 weeks. If you want to rely on some fapturbo, whatever bullshit robot you can get from clickbank etc, don't waste your time either.

You are going to need a lot more than $200 to trade forex, just like you would blow more then that on PPC or PPV till you found a profitable niche to market.

There are heaps of individual people who trade forex for a living and they don't possess anything different to you except they've done their time learning and are now reaping the rewards.

Just like KRIMINAL posted earlier, if you calculate your risk to reward correctly you only do need to get it right 40% of the time to be profitable. If you have numerous wins and one losing trade wipes out all your profit like someone posted here earlier - you're definitely doing something wrong.

You need to stay with a regulated forex broker, where your money is safe and they are bound by rules and regulations.

One broker has great deposit bonuses and are giving away an ipad http://www.uwcfxtrading.com

Hope that helps.

I currently use this broker for my high value transactions and an unregulated broker for the smaller stuff

if you want to get into trading forex you should begin studying technical analysis, candle stick charts as well as find out about every little thing that will move the currencies you want to trade. I found it more difficult than stocks. if you want to get a bigger bang for your buck go with options, I personally haven't played with them but I hear great things from a few friends that do.

Why do you trade forex?
Let me guess...
Because you want to make a crapload of money and be able to buy anything you wish?
While this is a perfectly valid reason, it will most likely lead to excessive greed and ultimately lead to your trading account's destruction.
You might as well take your money to Vegas instead, and gamble it away.
Once your money is all gone, at least it was entertaining.
Greed is the worst motivation for trading. The market will always punish greed and will always reward moderation.
Never try to make all of your money on one trade.
Never try to make all of your money on one trade.
If you do, you are not trading, you are gambling!
There is a fine line between traders and gamblers. When there is real money on the line, there are always those who take blind chances.
If you want to be a successful, do NOT think like a gambler, do NOT take blind chances and do NOT solely rely on luck.
Luck comes and goes just like the gambler.
It's the trader who remains.

not always the best to use brokerage that is in the country that you live. unless there are rules in your country that force you to.

UK/swiss brokerages usually have the best protection for your deposits.

also, depends on what you need- want to use metatrader 4 platform? ECN? etc...

check here for comparison if you want to also earn REBATES.

Interesting concept. I am running a MLB Betting site where I am using an algorithm which allows you to get away with a 33.33% win rate. One of my primary factors in taking my picks is an alteration I came up with for the pythagorean expectation equation. What is your forex money management system?

I have made great cash doing this, and now I am thinking about how I might do an alteration on the sports equation to calculate expected moves in the market. Look up the Bill James Pythagorean expectancy theory. Consider an alternative to runs scored and allowed and a different exponent. I am thinking about puts and calls or cftc commitment of traders long/short ratios.

PM me if you are interested. Sort of just a hobby here.:)

What is forex really is. I think noboyd has answered correctly yet.
