walmart mobile vs tracfone

I decided to get a walmart mobile phone which is basically a t199 for 9 bucks to verify a pp account, i just opened it and i can't do anything on it as it says it needs a sim card, what the heck, that sim card is like 25 bucks for a starter kit, i was told that I could text without buying that? any solutions?

Does the tracfone have this problem as well? thanks in advance

It runs on the new Phyode environment which allows you to debase the SIM cards ASCII bloatware. Then you just write your own CII byte code, augment it into the Phyode environment and you can upload new VSEs (virtual sim environments) via USB. I highly recommend it.

THe stuff you are talking about is so advanced. I'm really new at this. I just wanted a very cheap solution to get a phone with text only or a phone that has free minutes or something. I guess I need a sim card right?

1. which is the cheapest burnable phone that i can get text to always verify a paypal account
2. do i have to have a sim card? if yes which is the cheapest and do I just buy a new sim card when I need a new number just use the same phone?
