Hi!

Its been 2 weeks since I began posting backlinks and they still dont appear in Google Search Console. I thought that high DA websites would appear faster. Is that not the case? I already have some backlinks with DA 40-50 have appeared quickly, but higher DA 70-90 still have not appeared. What could be the reason and are there any methods to get these pages faster in GSC?

They have to first get indexed then after a while it would appear in GSC. To confirm if they're indexed, search for the backlinks on Google.

High DA isn't enough to ne considered as a good quality. You have to be sure the site is getting lots of search traffic and it's posts gets indexed on Google fast.

If it doesn't meet either or both of those, you have to index the links yourself with the help of third party indexers

Hi Henry,
Thanks for the information. But how can anyone index a 3rd party site if GSC only allows you to index domains that you own?

It is super delayed. That's just how it is.

The fact that they do or not appear in GSC doesn't mean anythng at all. GSC doesn't represent the reality, but just an approximation. Just check if the page where those links have been posted and you are good to go. If it's a niche edit, or a frontpage edit, then you will have to live with the uncertainty. Still server logs are your friend always. If you are not receiving a visit from GoogleBot with the site as a referral, then the link is not effective.

Its always takes time showing on GSC , just try to check them if they are index or not .

You can't index the other domains using the GSC. But you can index them by adding tier 2 backlinks to it and submitting it to the link indexing services.

I'd say obsessing over backlinks in GSC is wasting your time and could lead to analysis paralysis. Concentrate on working to build out and improve your website, and work on backlink building. You should only really be intensely checking stats quarterly, as two weeks of data is not going to give you any actionable insights.

Yes, you are right. In fact I have observed that many times GSC never displays all the backlinks that we have built. We believe that we have built a very high value backlink but it never shows up in GSC, but that's how it is. So just do not worry @LouiseX and continue with your SEO activities.

It will take some time to index in the GSC.
