Wait, LW and Link Pryamids To Each Page?

I built a small pyramid of I think 15 2.0's then about 5 article directories and backlinked them all with profiles and some misc links... Didn't see any real benefit from it. BUT, I was linking say 1 of the web 2.0's to one page, another to another page etc. NOT the same page.

Is that what you guys do? 1 pyramid for 1 page of your site only?

So each page gets a pyramid? Say in a 10 page site.....

Also, with the web 2.0's I should be making it look like OTHER people are writing these right? and just happen to be linking to my site as a reference or whatever?

Google isn't that clever...but changing the usernames probably helps.

I don't do any linking between anything, I'm not a fan of pyramids only because it is so obvious to google.
