Hello,

We just moved into a new house and the landlord is responsible for paying the water bill. Well, they didn't pay the bill so the water company came out and turned our water off at the meter. Does anyone know how we can turn it back on for the night so we can get some water here?

Neighbours outside tap and a hose pipe.
 
I can see one valve in this pic, why don't you try to turn on the valve( rotate it to the left ).

Yup... theft of services... no joke.

Ask the neighbor to borrow there outside spigot... explain why.... connect a hose from there's to your outside spigot and open both valves... they will feed your pipe system.. and will work as if your waters still on...

Just offer to throw some cash at them for doing it.
 
This is a really black hat method but you could try reading through Pewep's threads and when you cry from laughing too much, put a bucket under your head and catch the tears.

Or he could learn telekinesis powers off Pewep and will his next door neighbours water from their taps, using only power of the mind.
 
Put up a fire near house, make it unmanageable somewhat, then call fire brigade.... In 5 minutes or less, you will have plenty of water to last the week. Whenever you need water again, rinse and repeat.

I actually have a video of a guy stopping the taps from running using his psionic powers :D lol
 
It's very simple. Considering your water company is retarded and didn't padlock the meter. If they say anything just say "I'm sorry but there was no lock so I thought the landlord shut it off".

You see the knob on the right? It's got an arrow on it. Then underneath the arrow are 2 holes. When the water company shuts off your water they're suppose to run a lock through those 2 holes. They didn't, so that means all you do is turn the arrow left 180 degrees so it faces the house.

You can also pop the circular metal cap off the meter itself. When the water is running to the house you'll see a red piece of plastic spinning.

If you take the water without permission they can easily find you. Try to pay the bill.

When I lived in shared accommodation back in the day, my housemate didn't pay the electricity bill for months and months and months, and somehow he managed to keep them from cutting it off.

When they eventually did cut it off, he went outside and reversed whatever they'd done, and had 'free' electricity.

About a year later, they somehow caught on to what was happening, and sent a demand letter saying that he had to pay somewhere in the order of $500, or they would pursue criminal charges. He paid it, and the outstanding bill from about a year earlier, and the service was restored.

The irony, of course, was that the electricity bill used to be about $350 a month at that time... so it was a $3500 saving for the year. I don't condone it, just sayin... they didn't throw him in jail and lock away the key.
 
A week has passed since the water was cut off. We all are giving him suggestions and he has vanished after the OP. :D
