    Hi

ive tried the email & it bounces back ..

It seems abit suspect tho, maybe im being abit paranoid ... that someone is spying on my site, but all the same very possiable.

i got the impression code was added to my site so as to follow its progress as the facts and figures it is producing are very similar to my own

Reason for my concern is i have fallen out with my old web devolper over an outstanding payment im owed and i wouldnt like to think he is plotting against me.

    >Thanks Dansomers for taking the effort and time to do that .

Seriously mate - That site shows nothing more than the basic whois websites so I wouldn't worry at all!

Just make sure your code/password/server is all secure and he hasn't put in backdoors!

Thats the problem , they have access to that information, and after a fall out with the manager of the place ive noticed small things going wrong with it internally and externally

i later found out when they contacted me for a renewal that i wasnt able to move the website to a diffrent host, i was only made aware of this a year down the line & that im only leasing the software from them, and if i wanted i could point the website to a diffrent host but they were the owners of the software within the site and it is staying that way.

absolute joke !! and to be honest i wouldnt be surpised if they have done something to the site.

This was never mentioned to me that i wasnt the owner of the site nor did i agree or sign for this. so im prity p***** off

Thankfully tho im in the process of getting a new site made from a separate company, i will be keeping the same domain, i realise i will lose links that are pointing to certain pages within the site and rank but at least this way ill know no-one has access to the site and i will be the rightfull owner of it .

I would love to mention the company but im not on here to down talk anyones business, its a steep learning curve but it has to be done.

Do you own the domain though as in "its in your possession"?

Would you PM me your domain? I may be able to help? I might not

As for the links I wouldn't worry, just build your site to fit OR have a custom 404 and then 301 ;:)

yes i own the domain , as you mentioned the information is readily available through the net on whois sites but im concerned he has affected the site and added coding within ,

to be honest but i dont want my information on a site like that w3spy.net , even when i transfer the domain to the new site will that site still be able to track it ????????
