I joined Adscendmedia and I see this W-8BEN tax thing. I filled it but I am wondering how much is tax now? Does anybody know? I always used FileIce and never had any single tax.

Depends on what country you are from. Sometimes you don't have to pay tax even though you hand in the W-8BEN form.

In my country it's $6000 before I have to pay tax, but I still have to hand in a W-8BEN form for earning more than $600.

Taxes vary upon your residency. Your local government should have information about your tax rate.

w8 form is for capital gains taxes such as interest and dividend payments. They have no right asking for you to fill up this form. It's a waste of time. I guess they just do it to keep people busy. They will not be able to withhold taxes from you.
