******** vs Nofollow question?

Does Google like plenty of NoFollow links for ranking higher on SERP, or it is better to focus on ******** links from editorial sites and high DR web sites?

High DR and editorial ones help and also build nofollow links for better diversification.
 
Ideally you want a good ratio of both. A good point to start researching with is checking the backlink profiles of your competitors or those ranking in the top 10 for your chosen keywords, and seeing what they're doing. This will give you a good starting point of what to aim for, but you should be aware that many PBNs do their best to hide from tools such as Ahrefs and therefore may be going under the radar.
 
You should have mic of both. Also PBN links work the best after recent Google updates.
 
It's silly to think that Do follow and nofollow works like how Google declared 15 years ago. At this point they probably use do follow and nofollow links to see who is trying to game their system more than anything. A nofollow from Wikipedia or a Forbes article dedicated to talking about your site or business is obviously way more valuable than 10 do follow links from some shitty PBN. So to answer your question, focus on building high quality links regardless of d0follow/nofollow status.
 
Both are important to look natural. Just focus on high quality backlinks. Try to focus on Do follow links
 
Always maintain a healthy balance of do-follow and no-follow to keep natural.

Nofollow links are not ranked as they're essential "no follow" for the spider. You use this to avoid having your links indexed altogether.
 
Build both to diversify the link profile. You can focus more on do follow links for higher rankings and to increase the authority of the site.
 
Mainly ******** links result in higher ranking. No follow links are only for diversity.

General rule is no follow are for copyrighted content you don't want spiders find out about. Eg. you want to put some articles you took from another place for reference: it's good idea to make links to them as no follow to avoid being penalized for plagiarism.

Google just likes high quality links. just focus on getting good do follow links. Your site will get tons of no follow links naturally
