VPS Xsserver and web hosting

Hello mates,

I have one newbie question. I am using windows VPS from XSserver for my SB blasts. Now i need a hosting for a wordpress blog. There is any way to use my VPS as a hosting provider? If yes, how? If this is impossible, i can use Hostgator baby plan, i think its good enough for me.

If you have a windows server vps then you can use it to host your site. You will need to point your dns to its ip. You will need to find a script that runs on IIS or install apache and mysql from one of the all in one installers. This is a headache if you do not already know how to do it. You will have to get control panel in order to use it as host server!
