VPS with additional IP adresses

hello, best way forward is buy a VPS with one IP and get ips from your usual places - what is it that you are trying to do??

vps? maybe up to 10 per node,,fdc give 5 ips per node

That means I can buy a VPS by provider A and buy several additional IPs from a completely different provider B? What are the usual "go to" places for additional IPs? Am new to this

Depends on the performance of your VPS, and of course of the software. We have customers managing 1000 IPs with a very strong VPS (altough a dedicated Server might be the better solution for that amount of IPs). There is no correct answer to your questions, you would need to talk about specs and software first.

You have to buy the ips from the same provider, and same location so they can link it to your server.That means I can buy a VPS by provider A and buy several additional IPs from a completely different provider B? What are the usual "go to" places for additional IPs? Am new to this
Depending on what you need, if offshore server then pm me for recommendation (you can get up to 100 ips there), if not offshore then look at my sig.

Hostwinds sounds like a US seller, I'm looking mainly for German Server!
What also is something I'm thinking about is this -> What would the locations of the IPs be like? For instance, I get a server thats rooted in (for instance and to be more comprehendable an american city) washington. When I get like 10-20 additional IPs and I try a geo-targeting script for instance to see where the user is "comming from" (country wise, not referrer!)...will there be "Washington" for all 10/20 IPs??

You use your IPs over a Server in Washington, so location will be Washington. If you want a Swiss Server, let me know, there some advantages in Switzerland.

For Germany location I think you can take a look at hetzner or webtropia. On Hetzner the price for additional IPs are costly.
