Which is best, in what application?

I'm thinking for CL postings, it may be best to use vpn like hidemyass.com

I haven't purchased CLADg yet , as I want to make sure I have everything else in place.

And if I do get VPS also, what should I look for.?

    Thanks

You'll have better luck with a VPS.. VPN's are horrible for CL IMO.
I use my VPS's for CL and work great! (Just be sure you're posting
cities located close to your VPS Datacenter or have another trick ;p)

I think it would be better to do it on a VPS. But, you would have to find a way to get the locations accurate via VPNs or Proxies (I think). I'm sure there are other tricks around it, i am personally not too familiar with that though.

I would recommend the VPS over the VPN. You need something with good resources that will run 24/7/365 on a high-speed network and not have any issues.
