Hello!

I am looking for some help to buy a VPS.

At the moment I think I need 2 VPS:

1) For hosting. (4 websites with around 0.5 - 1 million visits per month each)
2) For tools (scrapebox, gsa, followliker and rankerx)

I have never bought a vps before, always hosted the tools in my pc and my websites in individual hostings.

So I need some advice on how many resources do I need, and if is a good idea to get just one powerful host. Well... tips in general.

Just buy a cheap vps host for tools with good RAM (i think at leasts 2GB) thats enough for seo tools.
For hosting i think you need a dedicated server how do you want to host your sites on a vps?

Pretty new in self hosting. I just tought it would be a better idea to have my sites in one place. I also have the idea to create my own pbn

For tools I can recommend Solid SEO VPS. Been with them for pff... 4 years now? Super fast support and reliable.

~3M visits per month total?
Thats ~6M page views per month?
VPS is not enough, you need dedi.

thats like 33k x 4 visits a day, why not put it on a shared host unless your pages are heavy? I have hosted single pages with over 200k visits a day mostly concentrated during the morning hours on hostgator before, they never seemed to mind.

You are not giving more information regarding your website / platform.
If your website is single paga or static site you can host it on lowend VPS.
If your website is dynamic you will need premium VPS with lot of CPU/RAM resources (XEON CPU, DDR4 and SSD in RAID10).
+Litespeed
+Caching
For your tools any Windows KVM VPS is good if picked from reputable provider of course.

What ???

I have been politely asked to upgrade on shared hosts when I hit 10k PV a day . And i try to keep page size below 500kb .
