VPS set up please help need!

Hi all!
Can someone please point me in the right direction. I would like to order a VPS package from this site ===> hxxp://damnvps.com/vps/simplevps/, i am about to purchase a $14.95/month from them with server details below...
Dallas Windows - Mystic
1GB RAM, 1GB Swap
30GB Disk Space
1TB Transfer
1 IP
Windows 2008
I would like to know some few things before i proceed...

1) Is this company a good one to go with? Anyone tested them can advise further.
2) I would like to run software like, SEnuke, Profile Link Robot, Scrapeboard and 20 instances of Friend Adder Elite on it. Is the server config good for that?
3)when i want to register, they ask me to provide hostname and root password, what hostname and root password should i give? am confused in that part.
Can someone please guide me in the right direction please.

First off, have you tried emailing them and ask if they allow that kinda software to be run on their servers?


When you register, the hostname is just what domain your server will be identified by mostly. So if you got a website you want on it, use that. The root password is your desired password for the vps login.

example:

Username: root
Password: imbackingbucks


But try google a little around, maybe you will find something

I heard some good reviews about them in WHT. I never bought vps or server from them so i can't comment about that.

Not Enough. You can't run all those softwares simultaneously. And 20 instances of FAE will definitely make your vps HANG instantly. But its enough if you run any one or two software at a time.

As its windows VPS, you don't need to Enter domain name. But it won't allow you to proceed to checkout so just enter any random domain of yours and the password you wish to have for your Administrative Account in your VPS.

OK here it comes.

They seem avarage. But I can say that you will be happy with the service. Actually you have opened this thraed on the wrong section. White hat-hosting could be a better choice. And there, you can find the answer of your question.
