Why would you need a VPS to runs scrapebox? I have just been doing it with afew private proxies and some public, am I doing something wrong?

but its not required? I only run it a few hours per day

You dont need it if you have enough bandwidth and if you dont run it 24/7

bandwith from my internet provider? I honestly dont really understand bandwith. I have business internet, and was told by att i have unlimited bandwith

Then you are ok...

Some people don't particularly want to run it on their desktop as they believe they can get better results on a more powerful VPS.
Likewise, it won't limit your own internet speeds.

IM using xsservers.. They are good but I'm thinking to go for a dedicate one. :)

the xsserver vps is good, and $20 to buy 10 private proxies for harvesting.

on vps i get 1k blast in 1min

on my local pc with 8mb dsl its 8-10mins

vps means x10 fast proccess

A VPS is useful when you have a relatively slow internet connection available in your country.

For a mere $35 a month you get to use unlimited bandwidth, 100mbps shared connection, decent config.

This helps in freeing your PC and you can go about doing the normal things that you use your PC for. I do my web designing and all sorts of things on my pc and just use the VPS to run SB and offer services.

This saves me a lot of time and is a very economical way to operate SB throughout the day.

MY SB runs around 18 hours a day, infact sometimes the whole 24 hours when I leave the harvester or the link checker for the night and wake up to only save the entries next morning. :D :D

VPS is good if you're running it 24hours. And you don't put the "load" on your PC. I'm running it on my PC atm and looking for a VPS so I can run it 24hours without getting worried about my PC which will be closed most of the time.. :D
