VPS recommentations

Hey all,

I'm trying to find a monthly/yearly VPS provider.

I've looked at amazon's EC2, but damn that's expensive for a monthly term. There's one (or so) VPS provider here on BHW, so I'll have to check into that more.

But does anyone have any other recommendations?

I don't need HD space, other than the OS install I probably won't need more than 2gb (if even that) of space. 512mb -1gb or ram would be perfect, and the most important is bandwidth.

So who/what do you guy recommend?

Edit: I guess I should have been a little bit more clear. I'm not looking for site hosting. I'm looking for a VPS to run my apps on it. ie: I put my app on, it'll run all night or what not without me having to be logged in. Ie: I'd need windows XP (or higher) with a remote desktop connection to it so I can install/run apps.

I would recommend going with futurehosting. Have been with them for almost an year now and they've always been pretty good at support. Never had any issues with them and even if I had any issue because of my own sites they helped me out without any hassles.

I would recommend mellowhost. quick support, nominal rates.
