    Hey Guys,

Currently using shared hosting on inmotion and looking to upgrade to VPS. Inmotion VPS is quite expensive though - any recommendations?

Prefer Cpanel if possible, simply because I know how to use it and am a programmer at all.
I'm open to other options though if they are reasonably easy to configure and maintain.

    Thanks!

I use Ramnode and Digitalocean because they have cheap SSD VPSes. At ramnode, you can host a wordpress site for like $3.50 a month. They don't have cpanel though but cpanel is quite resource hungry and needs larger VPSes to run properly. If you really need cpanel though, you should look into managed VPSes like on Hostgator but they're much more expensive.

Another option would be to hire a system administrator and have him setup the server for you for a one-time payment. Shameless plug because I'm a sysadmin myself and I'm available for work if you've got the money.

I'm open to this - depending on cost. PM me some estimates if you like.
