Is it possible to run multiple VPS's simaltaenously on one computer?

Mulltiple VPS on a dedi, yes.
A VPS within a VPS, possible but highly inefficient.

It is the purpose of VPS to run multiple virtual machines on one computer. It is how it was designed for.

Nice, so if my laptop is good enough I should be able to open multiple rempte desktop connections at one time?

I think you have your terminology confused...

Dedicated server can run multiple VPS's and that's what a VPS is, a Virtual Private Server (small piece of a bigger server).

You can also run something like Parallels to create a virtual environment on your laptops and make it like a VPS. There wouldn't be a benefit to anything if you're looking for speed as the program that runs the VPS (Parallels) will need to use resources (CPU and RAM) and you'll be left with less than if you just used your laptop.

If you just want to CONNECT to a remote VPS then yes, you can have multiple connections windows open and connect to a lot of different VPS's at the same time with just about any computer.

Great answer. What I was looking for. Thanks a bunch!

Yes you can open multiple rdp connection on your laptop, remember to save rdp connection files. then it will be like one click to connect and you will not need to enter login details again and again.

A hack is needed in Windows 7 to allow more than one remote connection to the same PC. But you can do a search and find it online.

If you're going to be logging into multiple vps servers then you need to get this tool. Its free and you can download it from Microsoft's site.

Do a search for remote desktop connection manager, should be the first result. Make sure you get it from microsoft.com
