VPS or VPN for 5 Accounts?

I have 5 very good account names I want to create and start gaining followers on.

I have already bought 5 virgin private Instagram proxies.

I am planning to purchase Followliker asap.

I'm confused about whether I need a VPN or a VPS.

I watched the FL tutorial video and it appears that you just put in your account info alongside the proxy info you want the account to be accessed with and then let it do it's thing.
Thinking about it this way, it would only be necessary to order a VPS and update my proxy settings to allow access to them from the 1 ip address of the VPS. Am I right in thinking this?

Virtual Private Network != Virtual Private Server, right? What the is significance of a VPN? Are the acronyms used interchangeably? If not, are there any benefits I should be aware of before moving forward toward my goal of botting to a few thousand followers? Best answer gets a cookie and a free shout-out once I'm successful.

Get a windows VPS if you would like to run the software in a remote computer.

VPN is for changing your IP and routes all connections through that IP alone.
