vps or ?? for downloading and reuploading

Looking for a solution to my problem i need to download thousands of videos and reupload them, i figure ill take advantage of the fast internet speed on a vps or something i was wondering what will be my best bet, i want something that will be like windows, so i can just download and go to youtube sign in and upload no hassell....

thats waht i was thinking but this is new territory to me, is it like just a desktop pretty much

yes, it is like a desktop. you can control it like it's your own pc.

Don't know if you ever used something like VMWare on your PC but it's the same thing.

You connect to the VPS with Remote Desktop and you will see a Windows install just like at home.
It's not as responsive though. Depending on your connection you might experience a slight lag when you click or move things around.

You can install anything just as on your own PC.
Only be careful with installing/using a firewall.
You might lock yourself out...
