Hi, I am looking at getting a VPS, but am new to this whole area.

I need it to run constantly racking up my Vagex views right now, before maybe moving onto other stuff.

Let's say just Vagex for now.

Don't know what I'm doing re : spec, needs, bandwidth, etc

If anyone could offer advice, and/or deals I'd really appreciate it. Not quite sure what I'm doing here.

Thanks if anyone can help :)

I didn't know anything about VPS just awhile ago. I thought it was a complicated process of setting up and managing it. But when I read about it, it was actually really simple. Just find a good VPS provider with positive reviews and its easy as logging in to Windows and installing your stuff.

I would really recommend BermanHosting. They have really cheap rates compared to others, but their servers are reliable and their support is great. At $16/month, it's pretty good. You can actually find cheaper VPS, but I wouldn't really recommend them.

Also, others will recommend other good VPS providers. But their rates are at around $30/month and above.

Basically, you need at least 1GB of RAM, 100mbps internet, and unlimited traffic.

pm me and I can help you out for VPS just let me know which site you want to host and I will sort out everything for you.

If you require a windows server get one with nothing less than 1 gig of ram, 2 would be recommended. Windows is a resource hog, so you need a decent chunk of ram.

Do you need a Windows VPS or Linux VPS? We offer both.

i would say firstly clarify your specs required and then look to compare for what you need
