Hi guys,

Anyone of you using VPS for your Blogs? I'm looking for a reliable hosting company that provides this kind of service... Any opinion and tips about this?

I'd been searching the net though some are really expensive. Others not sure of how good their service are. Like Burst.net - I've seen negative feedback's on them...

Thank you for the advice

in my limited experience with cloud, it doesn't scale as well as they claim. cpu performance of specific machines tends to be weak, and multiple concurrent requests can quickly bog down a machine. loadbalancing helps but ymmv. you should be fine if you don't have a lot of traffic or traffic in large bursts though. if you do go cloud, and do have a lot of traffic, be sure to optimize js + images to reduce http requests per page.

ooohh... so instead of using VPS i'll stick with the shared one. Since my sites traffic are just right.

Thanks!!

np, but this is just my experiences. if shared hosting is adequate for your needs vps most likely would be too. in that case i'd just go with the best combination of lowest price + most convenience, regardless of technology.
