Hey everyone!:)
So i have seen everyone talking about VPS and all that.
What exactly does it do for you?
How can people run their bot views off it?

What are the uses?

Sorry for noob question...:)

Appreciate all your help:)

A VPS (at least in cases of how people use them on this forum) is a Windows server that lets you pretty much remote connect into it. You'll pretty much be in control of another desktop that doesn't sink your bandwidth, slow your daily tasks, and is dedicated for your purposes.

Its good for people doing a lot of backlinking and need a really fast connection (100mbps+). The one I have is great for that as I can run programs with 2-3x more threads (depending on the template) continuously without worrying that I won't be able to do anything on the PC due to 100% CPU usage.

At first I thought I could save a bit of money by doing it on my home PC as I recently upgraded my specs, and though it does a good job I am pretty glad that I have a VPS to do most of my stuff on. It's running continuously with various pieces of software.

Ohh great thanks! who are you with?...
In registering for an account with a vps here in the UK, they ask me to configure my server by adding in my host name and root password..
I dont have a website?
What should i do?

The only problem with a VPS in my experience is the hard drive bandwidth. You may well have great CPU speed/ram/uplink etc but with the rubbish hard drive bankwidth, don't expect to be able to move big files very quickly - Windows can be very slow.

Linux though runs like a dream!

All i want it for is to run some bots like youtube views, and play online games...
But some sites say that i need a domain?
I am still very noob:D
what are some good cheap VPN sites that do not require a domain name on my behalf?
