VPS from G0daddy? Newer again + BH method

I bought a VPS from G0daddy before i joined BHW. I wouldnt, cause you guys already know they are ***.
Somtimes my server was down and they didnt care, i had to contact them to fix it. It was a problem with their network.
Anyway..
I was just shocked by their policy and treatment last Thursday. My VSP went down for a new reason: "Copyright issue." Well yes i made a BH method about beta games, but there was no copyright issue.
But the thing is, they shut down my server without contacting me before and without a proof of copyright issue. Someone just wrote them, that there is a copyright issue and they shut me down. WTF?
I tried to solve this immediately, so i agreed that i will remove the content. It took about 24 hours till my server was up.

To sumarize it (and you will see the BH method to take your competitors down):
1. Someone wrote that i have a copyright issue on one of my sites.
2. Godaddy shut down my VPS (about 20 webpages)
3. Took them 24 hours to start my server. They have in policy that it can take to 10 days if i wouldnt agree to take the content down.

So go ahead and destroy your competitors. But NOT ME! ;-)

The lesson i learned:
1. Dont do BH methods on your main hosting
2. Dont buy hosting from G0daddy. Their policy and support sucks big!

I agree, just with the general inquiries I have made with Godaddy about hosting, and even aftermarket domain names, their service sucks. Plus they overcharge for simple services, such as private registration (about $9). That would be fine if their service was worth paying the money, but its not!

Lol. Their phone support is a joke, they couldn't give a shit less about you. How this company got big and is still operating is beyond me.

for domains and especially for hosting...

What would you recommend for hosting?

I never use to buy Domain or hosting or anything from GODADDY
Completely left using GODADDY...

I'm using godaddy VPS from last 9 months, I have no issue with it.

Godaddy is not a good host, you can do way better and pay less.

Godaddy is in business cuz they have that one chick on their ads.

Anyone with Siteground hosting experience??

I used to be with godaddy, but found most of their tools and navigation confusing and innefective. I'm with Host Gator now and I absolutely love it!

I've been using godaddy for about 7 years for domains and hosting and never had a problem with them. A customer rep even called me once just to check and make sure I have no problems with their service. I said "No, everything is good"... and he said "Alright, thanks, just let us know if you need anything." I was pretty shocked...

I still use godaddy for domains though... that and namecheap. Or whoever else has a cheap registration.

I'm sorry you had such bad luck with Go Daddy. I never used their VPS before. I heard for shared and dedicated hosting they are fine. It depends what you need for your website, blog, etc.
