Hi,

I've bought quite a number of tools already and I discovered to my dismay that I cannot utilize them to its full potential because of the low connection speed here at home (1.5mbps). Harvesting Proxies using Proxy Goblin is slow, takes more than 12 hours to scrape all the proxies and get less than 100 Google passed. Scraping URLs using Scrapebox at 1-3 URL's per second is SLOW. I also have AMR and GSA SER (trial) running, and I can't run them all simultaneously without it negatively affecting each others' bandwidth.

Now I've been seeing that other blackhatters use VPS and run their tools from there, and they're getting up 100mbps, which is a far cry from what I use at home. So thought I should also set up my own VPS so that I can also run all of my tools simultaneously and get the optimal speed.

Problem is, I'm a complete noob about VPS and its related-terms. I've been browsing and searching about VPS, but still don't know where to start.

I'm planning on getting the most basic VPS since I'm on a tight budget from buying tools and services.

I found this seller in my country and looks okay to me ($10/mo):

It probably is an unmanaged plan. But I'm willing to learn to set it up to save.

I saw a seller at BST as low as $1/month, but they have so many options/plans I'm not sure which one to get and which is best for SEO.

So what do you guys think? Any advice on how or where I should start to set up a VPS for running SEO tools?

Thanks!
