VPS combined With Cloud Hosting For A Porn Site?

Greetings, everyone. So, I run an adult tube site where all of my content is locally stored via the storage included in my web hosting plan.

Would it be ideal to also purchase a cloud server to host all of the video files? I'm really considering this if it'll speed up streaming to hundreds/thousands of visitors at once.

Yes that would defiantly help but a cheaper option might be to order multiple VPS from the same or different providers and split the videos up.

For example lets say you have 100 videos, split them up into 10 (10 VPS) for videos 1-10 they are linked and hosted on VPS1, videos 11-20 on VPS2 and so on. The main challenge of this would be knowing what videos to host where as you don't want one VPS to get overloaded.

Adult sites always tend to grow very fast. I would recommend you instead of having VPS+cloud start considering low end dedicated server for the first time and than upgrade as you grow. In any case there is a niche for web hosting services called adult hosting and I believe there you can check some provider names.

Well, for the storage part, you better go for good old HDD and for the website it self with SSD VPS.

Low-end dedicated servers are craps compared to high-end VPS (KVM)
