VPNs that ACTUALLY Work on Omegle?

I've been wanting to try out some online marketing/video online in video chats. I've seen a lot of articles lately about VPNs to use with Omegle in 2020. My experience is that no VPN will actually allow you to connect. It says "unable to connect to server" when you try to load. Does any one know if any VPNs are actually functional to hide your IP address on Omegle that will really work in 2020? A guy had a IP tracker the other day and knew what city I lived in. So fuck that shit...

I've tried pretty much every VPN and proxy provider out there - and none work on Omegle...
 
They probably ban wast amounts of datacenter proxies. I'm not surprised. This is why VPNs/cheap dc proxies don't work - huge bunches of them get banned.

You should try it out it with a residential proxy. It is going to be more expensive, but I don't see a reason for it to not work, as their IP addresses come from real service providers.
 
So I honestly don't know the difference between using a proxy vs vpn. I think I remember seeing that in both TorGuard and Private Internet Access, they have proxy options. But how would I go about setting that up and making it work on Omegle like I would if i just loaded up my VPN client first and then select my city?
 
As others have mentioned residential or 4G proxies might be your best bet.
