Paying 15$ monthly for a Instagram proxy sounds like alot of money to me when i am not earning shit from it and also the trouble of changing proxy to my current network is hassle

are vpns better in anyway? Can they be used like proxy for insta accounts?

4G proxies are a better choice - but if you're into growth, only getting proxies won't do. Lot more happening in the process that includes accounts, automation etc.
 
4G and residential proxies are better in term of looking like a normal person, VPNs will most likely flag out as a bot.
 
mobile proxies work the best if you don't want to get a ban, but for 3 acc, and if you're not making any money from it a VPN might work just fine, it might be even faster (of course it depends on what kind of vpn you're using)
 
mobile proxies better for social media management, vpn not suitable for that kind thing, they will detect it
 
as a rule, anti-fraud systems define a vpn as an ip hosting. good private proxies may not be detected in any way, and ssh will definitely not be detected in any way, but everything of course depends on your tasks
