VPN vs. Proxies for CTR increase?

We would like to manually stimulate US website traffic from search results using random IP’s / browsers.

1) What would be better for this purpose: VPN or Proxy? What provider do you recommend?

2) How to limit browser fingerprinting and does it matter? Do user-agent switchers help or some other technic?

Simulation is ok, but does not mean that the web owner, or third traffic monitor will think the traffic as real human traffic..whatever vpn or proxy you use ,usually they have the ip database which can easily recgonize the proxy ip& vpn ip you send belong to a datacenter or some proxy providers . so based on what your goal is , you need to think carefully before doing it.
 
I think this will be most doable with residential or 4g proxies and browser fingerprint spoofing. goodluck

Multilogin app is extremely expensive for a low monthly usage on small website.

Are VPN and Proxy providers basically using similar servers or there is some diference in IP selection quality?

Use Webrtc protect extension +Fingerprint defender extension+ Canvas fingerprint+Scriptsafe

You can find all these extension on chrome store.However,you wont stay still 100% safe.

Thank you for recommendations. I have checked all of them and installed ScriptSafe. It looks that it covers all: Canvas Fingerpints, Webrtc.. So didn’t install other to not duplicate them.
 
for me i will want to use because VPN will offer you the same benefits that you’ll receive when using a proxy, except you’ll also get higher levels of protection, security, and anonymity. The only difficult thing about a VPN is there might be a learning curve, and it’s a cost investment. The only time you’ll really want to use a proxy is when you need a one-time solution for a simple task, like quickly viewing a blocked website, or getting around a geo-restriction. Remember, if you are going to use a proxy make sure to never send any personal information over the connection
