Im thinking of buying a proxy and using adspower.

Im wondering if i buy a proxy or ip that is located in uk does it act as a vpn and let me access uk stuff once i ooen the browser using adspower?

Yes. Proxy works just like vpn in getting anonymity. It is even better in usage comparing to vpn, especially using antidetect browser

It’s better to use a proxy or a VPN that you are 100% sure of and will preserve your anonymity.

I've been in a similar situation and was considering buying a UK-based proxy for accessing UK content. I've heard that using adspower with a UK proxy/IP might work like a VPN, and it sounds promising. I personally haven't used adspower, but I've had a good experience with Gologin for similar purposes
