I'm currently using CyberGhost VPN (free account) and it says my IP is from Germany. Unfortunately, I am unable to download from Demonoid using any IP from Germany (just get a blank page).

Can anyone recommend a different VPN service that let's you choose what location (other than Germany) your IP shows from?

I'm currently using hidemyass. I was using btguard before but they didn't have the options to change to so many different countries like hidemyass does. I've only been using hidemyass for a week and i've been to demonoid with a great number of different IP's. So far for me, I like hidemyass because you have so many locations to choose from. Currently on btguard, you only can choose from Canada or Germany as far as I know.

Although it may seem like self promotion, since I offer this free of charge, have a look here:

i was using Anonymizer's Total Net Shield just because I had it paid up for a year, but it only gives one ip a day and you can't choose.

Going to give Hide My Ass a try. You can choose between 5000 ips. Kind of skeptical of the low price. Mostly worried about the speed of the VPN.

Does this allow you to chose your own ip? Not much info on the site.

It is what it says it is. I'm only allowing one free country right now as gigabit networks are not cheap.

My speed really hasn't changed with HMA. You can set the program to automatically change IP's to your specific time needs. IP binding is available too.
The only downfall about automatically changing IP randomly is the brief period of it being dropped. But with IP binding, you can set specific programs to only work while the HMA client is running.
