VPN or regular proxy for youtube manual commenting and rating?

Which should I use? If I use just a regular proxy, will I lose my anonymity to youtube because they could detect my ip through flash? If so, should I use a vpn?

VPNs has a advantages and more secured than proxys. Got some good reads I have here to share with you.
 
I suggest that VPN is the best thing to do. I could suggest some good references if you won?t mind.
