VPN is not always safe

Recently, it's been a real disaster; my personal information got leaked. My mailbox is filled with junk emails, and what's worse, I keep receiving mysterious calls. I pondered all the possibilities of how my privacy could have been compromised, whether it was from real estate agents or websites I logged into. However, it wasn't until my friend noticed the VPN I frequently use that he warned me to be cautious as VPNs can leak personal details. While the primary purpose of VPNs is to encrypt my online data and hide my IP address, offering me a sense of online security and anonymity, most VPN services collect basic information like payment details, name, and email address. This is especially true for subscription-based VPN services like ExpressVPN or NordVPN. Some services, like Windscribe, offer additional benefits if you provide extra information, such as an email address. This poses a risk for privacy leaks. If you opt for a free VPN service, you need to be particularly cautious. This is because free VPN providers profit by selling user data, which might include search history and IP addresses. In the end, to escape this nuisance, I tried using more login as an alternative to VPNs. The issue of my privacy leak has significantly reduced. Ofcourse, most VPNs are not totally safe in terms of leakage(s) of data. Never use your original actual email(s) while on a VPN.
 
You haven't discovered America, it's clear that they make money from selling our data. But I doubt a brand as powerful as express VPN is doing that.

That time you took to wrote this post you could have created a few email accounts for vpn. Why would you use real email to register free vpn? And main email address to buy vpn?
 
what vpn was it? Im afraid of it too but I have no choice sometimes as some proxy sites get banned here lol
 
It depends on the VPN provider's quality and trustworthiness whether you choose to use a VPN or not.
 
It makes sense that happen for free users, vpns used to be secure now most of the time don't do nothing but could be their limitation or maybe they are not enough anymore with the moderm hacker, scrapper websites collecting data and more.
 
First of all, you need to choose a VPN with strong privacy policy. It would be better to Use a paid VPN instead of a free VPN for your privacy.
 
VPNs can be safe, but you need to select a VPN provider whose quality and reputation you can trust.
 
I use tuxler vpn I don't face any problem in this VPN.

Yeah, also im pretty sure its in nords advertising promising that they dont do this.
But also since they are an American corporation they have to keep logs in case fed requests.

Problem is you are not using your own VPN. you are using some other services. That's the problem. Why not creating your own VPN? More Faster and Stronger
 
never use your real info when it's not needed
 
That's the case for most VPNs out there
If it was so safe, everyone would use it to getaway with cyber crimes
