Hi guys,

If I use a VPN (like Nord) and configure my Firefox to use a proxy (Options->General->Network Proxy->Manual Proxy Config) I'm still protected by my VPN right ? Is this what's happening:

My Computer -> VPN Server -> Proxy I Set in Firefox -> Website (and then the reverse when getting data back)

Thanks.

Yes, Using a VPN and proxy simultaneously will add an extra layer of security but it has its own complexities. The time they will take to go through both protocols and encryption will slow down your connection speed.

If you are downloading a lot of questionable materials or running heavy scrapers / bots, You will be needing both.

the quistion is why lol.

you dont need both but you might be lazy keep adding to browser a ip for the proxie,

what reason you got two any real reason.

just interested

i ask as he could of done it free .

can run tor, then run his vpn, just cut down cost.

even better there 12/m free hma pro, giveaway serial numbers on this forum .

can be done all free ...

Yes all can be free but not worth it.

Instead just pay couple bucks to buy a vpn + proxies per month.

To get the stable service and quality service as mostly free are useless due to many reasons.

One of them is privacy that's what he is trying to achieve if use free you are comprising it mostly.

Hi guys, thanks for the info.

For those saying I'm up to no good, my goal is to make a comment bot, mostly as a learning exercise.
