for a week i've been promoting vpn offers, i've been sending traffic with keywords i've generated more than 1000 clicks on the offers for a single sale, i don't know if it's me or the conversion rate that's bad, has anyone been promoting vpn offers, i'd like some advice thanks for your help.

I have noticed the same thing, 100s of clicks no conversion on vpn offers. And I see lots and lots people promoting vpn offers. This is crazy. Time to move on and do more research. Promote only that converts with min clicks.

Gad damn wasted my precious holiday clicks! So mad.
 
I think VPNs will be products destined to die, unless they are "redesigned": the sites that realize that you are coming from a VPN and do not allow you to operate correctly are increasing day by day.

VPN affiliate marketing is saturated to death
 
The VPN market is not only saturated, but also chaotic. There are very few high-quality and stable providers, and most of them are mixed. This is just my personal feeling, a one-sided statement.
 
Been a while since I was this interested in responding to a thread. I started attempting VPN affiliate marketing back in late 2018 with direct URL linking on Google Ads. Made some light extra cash. Became tired of circumventing bans and decided to attempt it honestly. Built a comparison website in 2019 on WordPress and spent about $1.5k trying to get it profitable with ads. Unfortunately I could never get it profitable. The conversion rates, even with a dedicated comparison landing page, was trash. Tried several versions of the landing page including hiring someone to create short video content for the page.

To this day I'm still not sure where I went wrong considering I've seen CNET and Forbes break into running ads to a comparison page with VPN affiliate links. One thing I've never understood about the VPN industry is how difficult it is to break in to. Even started and sold a VPN company in 2017 that I consider a failure to this day.

All the guys saying the market is saturated are correct. It isn't any more saturated that any other B2C SaaS product though. If you don't like saturation and competition, find another trade.


Last theory I have is that my ads running traffic to the comparison landing page had such minimal spend that it was destroyed by the auction competition resulting in low quality traffic/searches.

What type of model did you run? Currently testing out a comparison website with Google Ads traffic. Budget set to $50/day. AMP landing page.

I am using cold seo traffic. That reminds me to change vpn to some other offer.
 
Decided to give an update. Spent $136 in Google Search Ads driving to a VPN comparison landing page. 26 clicks through my VPN affiliate links from roughly, going back to the drawing board to clean up my Google Ads traffic. No conversions/profit. $136 in the red. Will update in a few days.
 
So, about these sites that are advertising VPNs on Google daily, like TopVPN, Top10VPN, VPNPros .... and many other sites using only Pid traffic withe a budget of at least 1K per day?

What do you want to know about them? I'm currently trying to get the same model off the ground. More than happy to share. All those guys are driving traffic to a simple comparison landing page with Google Paid Traffic. I've spent around $1000 trying to get it to work. More than happy to share notes.

The other guys in this thread appeared to be trying to get SEO traffic for it, which is the pussy way of waiting for a payout with lots of upfront work. Not to mention Google isn't a fan of AI written content for SEO.
 
What keywords are you targeting? A lot of people search for free VPN services. So if your keywords don't filter out these free VPN searches you lose a lot of money quickly.
Maybe you can target some people's pain points for example: best VPN for torrenting or best VPN for watching IPTV.

I won't go into specifics but I would suggest you use "free" as a negative keyword in your Google Ads campaigns.
 
Providing an update. Interesting auction insights so far on Google Ads. No conversions yet, about $250 in the hole on this attempt. Running the campaign at a very small daily budget to try to force cheap CPCs into the campaign. This is a very competitive space, keep in mind the keywords I'm bidding on are less than three.

Does anyone know what template is the top10vpn site using? I want to create an affiliate site (not related to VPNs) and this template would be great.
 
Its because you are targeting wrong people. Try to target people with netflix and offer them solution to watch films which are forbidden in their country. And etc etc, sell the solution, not the product.
