Hey everyone,

I currently use Skype as my VoIP its cheap, easy to use, has some good features. Right now im actually looking for an alternative. I live in Canada so it would need to have the ability to assign me a Canadian number. Also im using it for my business, should i just use regular land line or get a cellphone for it instead? I need to make calls to the USA/Canada only.

Thanks

Yes i think VoIP is truly reliable when it comes with business, but if you're using skype and feel comfortable then it's ok :)

Doesn't Google Voice offer numbers in Canada? I have several accounts I setup in the USA and use both there and in my Philippines office when I am there. The voice quality is excellent.

I can setup the numbers to ring to any other phones I want, too. You can have a cheap prepaid cell phone and have it forward to it if you wish.

Just one other option to consider..

Hi, bump into this website which provide very details and good comparison. You can go have a look as well at voipbands or google voipbands.
Hope you find what you needed there. Sorry, i can't post any url link over here.

Skype is better sir.
You can use it anywhere, and if you moved out for some reason, or traveled overseas for vacation or any Other reason
You will still be able to get your calls from your customers, Plus you will be able to also make calls
Good luck
