Hey Guys, welcome to the place where I show you my progress to $1000 a day in passive income.
Let me first start off by saying that I have been doing IM since 2006. Most of my earnings have been through SEO efforts, however once I reach a level in this journey where I can afford to spend $300 a day on PPC/CPM/PPV traffic I will be growing my earnings in that direction as well. This however is not passive income, but will be a stepping stone to then purchasing sites which generate traffic already and better monetizing them than the seller, or improving their rankings.
The idea here is to work smarter not hard.
You might be asking yourself... If this guy has been doing IM since 2006 then why is this even a journey, he must be banking already?
My response to that would be, I was banking back in 2011 before I got a back slap and all my sites when down the tube. I was able to reach $800 a day from passive income back then, but failed to hit my mark of $1k a day because of laziness. Then everything I worked so hard for was gone overnight. I dropped from making about $25k a month to $2k a month, and slowly dropped down to $800 per month. At this point I hit an all time low and was shocked for about a year and did not want to have anything to do with Making money online. I lost all motivation, and was sickened to see how hard I had worked, and nothing to show for it. So I got a regular job and reflected for a while.
Now the prodigal son has returned!
What's the difference this time around?
The difference this time around is making my cash work for me. As I build out my sites, I will be selling some of them off to rebuild more sites than can make just as much as the first sold but in a quarter of the time. I can grow exponentially while minimizing risk.
I also have a tougher shell and understand risk vs. reward much better than the days of old. So this time around I am accepting any loss was either because I knew the risk and chose to build my sites a certain way, or because of an unforeseen algo change that I must correct on my own sites and move forward with results.
Where I am at now In this Journey
I started this journey about a month and a half ago with a fresh domain and a concept for building an adsense niche. I worked my butt off and posted daily on the site. I purchased some average content for about .75 per 100 words and cleaned it up. I started building links from authoritative sources first. All links were for my domain name. No special anchor text at all. Next I let the site sit while I pounded out content day in day out. I have spent about 14 hours a day for about 45 days posting approximately 450 articles. My earnings started small, and then hit an all time high several days ago at $250. Daily though I am averaging $200 a day. I am also continuing to post new content and ranking for many long tail keywords.
What was my cost?
$1300 in content
$200 in links
$10 for domain with private registration
$5 a month for hosting
Total Cost: $1515
What does this mean for you and me?
For all you lazy people out there who want to make money, but complain that nothing works for you, it is possible to make it if you get a game plan together and bust your butt. For those of you who are hungry and not lazy, and have just started your own journey, I wish you the best and would tell you to take full advantage of the information here. Even though thousands of people read the content on BHW only a small percentage will ever do something about it. Nobody ever said this would be easy. Get your mind right, read some threads and then execute a plan and don't stop until you have reached your goal. With a little knowledge you can earn a living in a relatively short period of time whether you buy content like I did, or you write it yourself.
If you can't afford the content which not even I was able to really afford (Put some on credit card), please don't complain. I don't want to hear about it. I can tell you I started with nothing back in 2006 and I fought my way tooth and nail to the top. This time however I know what I can accomplish and I do not guess at what I can make, I only know what I can make. I altered my strategies a bit and put into practice a good plan.
For me getting to $200 a day means I am 1/5 the way through with my journey. I am ready to get to the half way point. Let's see how far away that is. I have already started a new site, and will update you on it's progress as well. this new site is being built on an aged domain.
This will conclude my first post on my journey to $1000 a day. Ask me questions and I will try to answer them. You may ask me about link building techniques, about how I get content, how I manage my keywords or anything like that.
Don't ask me my niches, and don't ask me detailed information that only a dummy would giveaway information on. By doing so you would be insulting me and making yourself look like a bottom feeder.
