I'm not trying to make a sale or trade. Are you a mod anyway?
I have a BST they replied to chief and all I'm trying to do is get their proper contact information for something stemming from a thread I properly paid for.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but since when is trying to contact someone to continue a discussion against the rules?

There may seem to be a fine line to people that like to pick fights or assume they know everything but I keep my sales promotions in my threads and the Lounge is a perfectly acceptable place to request a contact. Without putting in the information I did, how would I expect them to know I meant them.

Would this be better? "Hey person that contacted me about something, would you please get back to me?" ... Seriously dude what's the point.

If a mod dislikes it, they will tell me and I will respect them. Anyone else can keep their nose out of it though.
