Hey everyone I just figured I would share this info with all of you, this is actually a post from one of my blogs from months ago and I think I shared the link to the post, but here is the full post. For those of you who don't know what a google page rank is, it is a way that google ranks your website, the higher rank your site has the more "importance" that it has to google. Long story short, you want as high a pr as possible. A lot of people would spend a nice amount of money paying for a link on a site with a page rank 6. Its a pretty easy process and is free, all you have to to is trade links with the website. Anyway the link that you have to post looks like this:

    Code:
    USCIS:
The USCIS, or the United States Citizen and Immigration Service, is a department within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The USCIS was created by the Homeland Security Act of 2002. The USCIS consists of approximately 15,000 employees and 250 field offices around the world.
Then submit your site. Just go to this link:
    Code:
    http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/linkexchange.html?gclid=CLbGhOb-kpUCFQO2FQodFBzUHA
. It will give you the html to insert into your website, and a place to submit your site to them. In fact they have 10 or so different looking links for you to chose from, for my purposes I chose the text link. After checking your link they will then add your link to their website with a google page rank of 6, which is quite high. This is an easy and free way to help increase your page rank, which in turn should increase your traffic.

Oh and I think this is my 500th post ;)! good luck to all my fellow Black Hatters. Happy New Years and lets all make a ton of money in 2009.

It can still help indexing speed.

Nofollow just means that no value si assigned to the link

Not only is it no follow but exchanging links is almost point less. The whole reason people buy links is so they don't have to give a recipricol link in exchange. If a website w/ high PR is pointing to you, Google is seeing that you must have a credible site. However, if you have a link pointing to that website, the credibility is virtually gone. Thus reciprical links have almost no value.

Tbh, im sure some search engines just ignore the nofollow rule. I know that stumbleupon is nofollow, and yet they turn up in backlink results, and i end up with pages with pr2 or so that have only been stumbled like crazy.

    Meh just my two cents.

    Thanks viva

Echanging links is still good if the link is from a authority site or a high traffic site. Not a problem viva you was just trying to share...

    Thanks,

I'll take a nofollow from wikipedia .edu .gov any day. Its just a signal, not a deciding one.

reciprocal linking is not worthless. It helps. ANY link whether reciprocal or not from PR 5+ is going to kick ass for you.
