Visitors from Hyderabad?

So the past few mornings I look over my site stats, and I see a big chunk of pageviews (~50) from India. Ok, no big deal, it's daytime for India overnight, so it must just be users browsing, right? Except they're *all* from Hyderabad, and nowhere else. Plus, they're only visiting one specific page on my site. It all seems really fishy.

Is there any way for me to nail down what's going on and make sure I don't somehow get screwed over here?

Yeah you can buy a heatmap tracker and then you can watch what each visitor is doing on your website.

What are you worried is happening?

Not sure exactly. Either that they're trying to hack some exploit in the site, or that they're trying to steal my content, or that they're trying to do something that would neg SEO me. The latter doesn't quite make sense, though, as that page isn't really ranking high on Google just yet.

Really, I'm not quite sure *what* they'd be doing, and that's what makes me worried.

I think you better spend your worry elsewhere, chances are they are not even real people. There is tons of bot and proxy traffic flying around.

Unless you have some super valuable content hidden in your site that they want, I wouldn't worry.

And if you are worried, you can always block out the IP's or Block the Country from accessing your site.

The only way to know what they are doing is to watch what they are doing....and the only way to do that is with a heatmap.

Might be google workers checking your site. Google has a big office in this city.
Could you share IP of these users?

It's someone botting your site from there. Lots of outsourced SEO happens there. Someone might be scraping your site or doing something else

I am from hyderabad too,If its any help i can look into your site and see if there is any thing particular that's attracting that area's visitors.

Where would I find that? I use Google Analytics.
