Virus almost got me!

I'm a longtime FireFox user, and I usually don't fall for this stuff, virus or whatever malware, etc., but this time, in a rush to get going, I downloaded a file that luckily my antivirus software detected and warned me about it. So I allowed it to take care of it and I'm going to make sure it's gone next.

If the URL of the download starts with "hxxps://johjukrawall.net", that's where the download was coming from. No idea of the potential damage and hazards.

Haha close call. You should be more worried about the ones your AV didn't pick up on :-/

I have to reload my laptop every 6 months because I get paranoid about undetected malware
