If I install a virtual machine on my pc, do i have to install cc_claner on it again or the one installed on the main os is enough?

Yes, the OS inside your virtual machine is completely separate from your host OS. All your cookies etc. exist separately inside the filesystem of the virtualized OS.

Agreed - treat the VM as a new computer in essence and install all of the necessary software to protect yourself. Don't forget about flash cookies!
