Virtual Co-Working Accountability

Disclaimer: This is an entirely free site (they run on donations I think) but since the sensible ones among us are cynical I have no affiliation to this site. Stumbled into it through the Side Hustle School podcast and thought it was a cool idea.

You join a webcam session with someone else working from home. 50-minute slots with a set goal.

You're not collaborating, the idea is you'll be more productive because you're accountable to someone else. It'll work for some, I know I'm more productive and less likely to stick on Netflix when I'm working out of a co-working place rather than my own place.

I'll be moving city again any day now so I'm not renewing my co-working pass. I'll be on there fairly often this week. Feel free to PM if you want to do a session together.

It's just someone else working on their own thing. The chances someone starts pulling out his junk on cam isn't going to be high on there (probably a little higher now I've said that here) but big woop. Just close the window and move on.

I've just spilled coffee down my white top in a physical co-working place so I'll probably be around later tonight.
