Virtual cards - is it illegal?

I recently came across some sites providing virtual cards, marketed towards buying ads and also using them for free trials, and likely all the semrush trial sellers and canva sellers are using them to create the free trials.

What I'm wondering is, is it all illegal? On the surface it seems like it doesn't matter, but can it legally be classified as fraud?

In most cases it is ethical thing, but not illegal becuase the company(semrush/canva) allowed you to do so.

When you make it your own business then it is simply unethical.

It's not illegal. It would be illegal if you use it illegally.
 
It's as ilegal as a knife
If you use them to cut a turkey and serve it to your family, no problem
If you use them to cut someone's throat...well, that's ilegal

can be, depending on where you live, the laws and what they wanna classify them under as
but typically, on a day to day usage, it's fine.
