Long story short - there's no such thing as a virtual bank account in the UK (and in most other countries for that matter). Banks all around the world have KYC regulations that they have to follow and therefore they MUST make sure of your identity, and in some countries, such as the UK, see you in person, in order to open an account for you.
That said a company called Payoneer are experimenting with a US-based virtual bank account service. Read about it in the threads I've linked and/or do a search on BHW for payoneer.
