Where do you look to hire a Virtual assistant. I used to use odesk/upwork but with all the changes it is no longer economically feasible.
I am asking places other then Odesk and BHW

I get it from @globolsales he has a sales thread as well in marketpalce. Offers really cheap and quality work at only 3 bucks per hour.
 
What kind of VA are you looking for ? Maybe I can help :)

I spoke with them. Seems really nice. But limited in scoope Right now they are doing mostly seo and data Entry work. and i need a little more then this.

But at this time I am asking those who do hire. Where do you hire from and how do you do it.

In terms of what i am looking for is someone to replace me. I just dont have time to setup my website and manage it, due to the fact that i work full time.
So it would be a various number of tasks, i use thrive content builder from wordpress. I outsource the article but i do edit them to fit my needs. Etc.

I can do this. Let me know if you are interested. I use wordpress mostly.
 
Why is upwork not economic? i'm sure there's economic new VAs on the market.

OnlineJobs.ph is one where you can hire VA's from the Philippines for a one-off gig or on a monthly basis. You can post your job offer or search through VA profiles. It's pretty useful.

From what I can tell. You pay the Freelancer direct. Via paypal. I guess the only concern with that is I dont know if i can deduct that type of expense on my Taxes, will need to ask my accountant.
 
Freelancer has some potential VAs for you but be careful. It's also littered with scammers.
