Virtual Assistant or Services for SEO?

Anyone with experience? Which one to choose for best results, to hire a virtual assistant for $300 a month to help you with the offpage SEO or to purchase services (like on here and fiverr)? Please mention if there will be any difference for low, medium and high competition keywords.

I think to hire a virtual Assistant would be better..
I know a professional outsourcing SEO company which are best in this link building...i have used their service for my PPC project...it was pretty impressive as i got my ROI..

That company charges $7 which totals $560 per month if it's a parttime worker. That's way too much.

I'm not looking for places to get those services, I'm wondering about the results when ordering those services.

Try searching "Webcyonix" on Google... I used their services for around 6 months and they charged me $300 per month for a fulltime virtual assistant. Worked pretty well for me.

In my experience it seems to be the luck of the draw with VAs. I got one with 1.5 yrs of experience and he turned in an Article Marketing Robot submission and called it a full work day.

I figured he needed direct supervision. So I hired a second VA and a manager. The service made HIM the manager and first of the new VAs couldn't do the work without her boyfriend helping her.

I quit using the service. But I know people that are very happy with the same service.

I think that it must be easier to speak/ write English than it is to understand it. Sometimes it seemed like the VA would just skip parts of the task instructions.

I will give it a try again but this time I will not use SEO VAs. I will only use SEO/ Writer VAs in the hopes they will have better communication skills.

As for how effective they can be. The acceptable times for completing tasks is about 3 times as long as it takes me to do them. Sometimes it took longer to communicate the task than it would have taken me to it.

I think they would be most useful doing standard tasks they have much experience with or specialized tasks that they will do many times over. In those cases I think they could provide good results.

I never use a VA for SEO and use services on BHW instead combined with using my own tools. Eg, BTB's link pushing to build web 2.0's then blast those links with AMR, Scrapebox and Xrumer yourself. Also buy social bookmarks (I like Alman's service) and Big Buddy's .edu service.

With Fiverr gigs, you get what you pay for, cheap and spammy backlinks for $5 which will hurt your site post panda. VA's problem have no clue what they are doing and most likely doing things manually and anyone who is truely good at off page seo will not be working for you for $300 a month!!

Best to outsource here and also buy and learn to use some tools yourself. If you dont have the time then outsource it all to the service section to providers with good ratings and good reviews.

VAs are a 'luck of the draw' and if you get the wrong one can be extremely frustrating....

You're talking about 'apples and oranges' here really... They're completely different...

Hiring a VA is for repetitive task outsourcing. If you can find a good VA who works well unsupervised - then you've struck gold. Don't expect VA's to handle complex tasks that you take for granted; unless you're prepared to spend a lot of time teaching/coaching them.

BST Services here are (hopefully!) from skilled providers in key areas; something that no VA is going to be able to provide. Service providers here specialise in an area and can be cost effective by scaling. A VA that has the ability to work at the level of a BH service provider in multiple areas isn't going to be a VA for long!

Working on the assumption that you're making less than $1k per week so far, spend your money on content, tools and quality services....

$300p.m. goes a LONG way like this. e.g. our premium UberToolz service provides all the toolz you need for SEO/prep/content gen (and 3 new articles per day) for $47p.m. (Sorry about the shameless plug - but we have been using our own tools for hours every day for over 4 years!) Buy AMR for mass article marketing, and then ZennoPoster or Magic Submitter - and teach it to post to manual 2.0's. Learn them all PROPERLY - and then spend extra money on quality content production for site/key asset building. Some people swear by ScrapeBox, but I only really use the harvesting functionality; commenting has lost most of it's power now.

If you want to excel, get to grips with PHP and HTML/CSS; as this will open the door to all kinds of automation.

lol all those 1 post ppl trying to push their crappy services, you must have forghotten in which forum you are here.

Id say use the services here as you have way more reviews from the ppl here. To find a VA will take you very long and although it might seem cheap at first it will take longer to do things, probably a lot of errors etc... see lots of them stat that they do everything manually for no footprints blabla.... but that mkes them slow as hell compared to any tool. and what is the difference between me running 50 thread with private proxies, randomized name,email,pass,profile pic ... its just pure nonsense.
Most of them lack english skills so the communication might be a even bigger issue.. If you are lucky to find a very good VA though its of course worth it. But its getting harder and of course the more expensive the less value unless they are truly awesome and dont just do it manually or run tools --> might as well use the services here.

SEO Services

I have used very many of these. I started with small packages/ companies and built up to packages. This can be frustrating too but at least you eventually get the work done.

I assume projects will take twice as long as promised. I haven't found a correlation between customer service and the size of the package. But by only buying large packages now I have to deal with less companies.

Based on my limited experience with VAs I think I can get more SEO done for less money this way and with less frustration.

Do It Yourself

This is by far the biggest bang for your buck but it does cost you time. I have done 16 full SenukeX projects in one normal work day. That would have taken a VA about a week to do. I can't imagine how much it would cost to have an SEO service do it.

But my time is limited. So I will do all three. I always have two or three big SEO packages running, I am trying to find a good writer/ SEO VA (so they can understand instructions) and I do a lot of SEO myself.

^ Good point here. I have a VA for articles only but these are just for 'filler' articles on my web sites. My main SEO optimized articles i write myself. I outsource some link building to the service section and do the rest myself, so really its a combination of all three.

i am to lazy to do some stuff so i hired a VA. He's posting comments on blogs that have big PR, and need registration.

Also his posting on forums, signatures...etc

I was lucky to find one at such good rates

I utilize all - VA, Forum Services & Fiver.
